Sustainable hotel in Senigallia
For over 50 years, we've been committed to making you feel good!
It was 1973 when Hotel Metropol first opened its doors.
The vintage photos tell the story of our origins: a small vacation hotel in Senigallia, lots of energy, and a big dream.
Over the years, we've never stopped growing.
Our passion from back then has remained unchanged. On the contrary, it has become even stronger!
We've always focused on quality, improving every detail to make sure you enjoy a special stay.
Over time, we've made many important decisions: we've built two pools, added another one with a whirlpool, and turned the sunbathing area into a green corner with palm trees and flowers.

We made a huge step towards being eco-friendly: we set up solar panels to ensure we can make our own electricity.
We're proud to be Senigallia's first carbon-neutral hotel.
As a result, we avoid putting about 50 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year.
The system features 354 panels, placed on the roof and on the parking lot cover.
This project has also been recognized by national newspapers and awarded in the Campionato Solare (Solar Championship).

We've joined the Doccia Light project, and have installed low-flow systems in all our showers: this saves water and energy without compromising on comfort.
In 2015, we replaced 80% of our light bulbs with LED lights, which consume less energy, last longer, and don't carry any harmful substances.
